My Story Day 5: Monday

Working on ourselves is the hardest yet rewarding investment of our time.

We are often told anything is possible and that we can do anything we set our minds too. These thoughts become so passé that we don’t even actually take them at face value. We don’t stop to realize “Wow you’re right, anything is possible.”

The fact that we exist at all is such impossible odds, that anything more likely than you existing seems at least plausible.

And that’s what scares us…

Often we aren’t even worried about our limits, we are overwhelmed by how truly infinite our potentials are. We just don’t know how to direct that energy.

We aren’t certain which direction to focus our efforts and we can’t really ever be sure if what we are focused on is the optimal way to spend those resources of time and energy. We will throw money at ways for us to circumvent the learning processes. We get lost trying to spend the most resources on what will allow us to do the least amount of work.

Grit is learned in the trenches!

We all want to be some sort of successful. We want to be happy or at the very least contented. The efforts we pour in, we want to see something from and we get so frustrated when things don’t go the way we expected them to go.

Building your foundation in whatever field you want to grow is the most important part. Build outwards then upwards. You can’t build a skyscraper in a swamp because the foundation won’t allow for it.

Most Over Night Successes were building for years before you heard of them. Most people or businesses you heard of overnight that disappeared shortly after didn’t build the foundation to make it last.

If you want something you have to work for it.

Anywhere you want to go in life is possible. You just need to figure out the realistic steps to getting you there. Imagine yourself there and then work for it.

Strive for it. Everyday.

My For You Best Always,
